Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This policy is issued by Timsons Engineering Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 9125170), registered office Water Street, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN16 0JR, United Kingdom (“Timsons”, “we”, “us”).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use similar technologies (pixels, local storage); this policy covers them all.
2. How consent works on this site
Under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we only set non-essential cookies with your consent. When you first visit, the cookie banner lets you Accept all or Reject all — with reject exactly as easy as accept. No analytics or marketing cookies load until you consent.
You can change your mind at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. Your choice is stored for 6 months, after which we ask again.
3. Cookies we use

4. Analytics configuration
Google Analytics 4 is configured with IP anonymisation, no advertising signals, and 14-month retention. Data may be processed on Google servers outside the UK; safeguards are described in our Privacy Policy (International transfers).
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though forms and preferences may be affected.
6. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” request. There is still no agreed industry standard for how sites should answer one, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals. The cookie banner is the reliable control here: nothing non-essential is set unless you opt in.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We revise this policy whenever the cookies we set change. Revisions are posted on this page with a new date above. If a change affects what we would set with your consent, we will ask for that consent again rather than rely on an earlier answer.
